If a document has not yet been signed by all parties, then it can be edited.

Changes can be made to the document header, the counterparties, and the text of the whole document.

 To do this, choose the document to be changed in the list on the left, and then click on its name.

The document is then displayed as a preview, and the available actions are shown at the top right, above it.

Click the second option in the list Edit Document.

In Signi, we guarantee that every signature added belongs solely to a specific document in a specific form, and so any signatures that have already been added to the document must be removed if it is changed. After all, it is now a new document.

The system will warn you of this:


A document preview will then be shown in the step named Document Contents.

At this stage you can completely replace the uploaded document with another one, by clicking on Modify Document.

You will be called to upload an entirely new document.

 If you only need to change a document’s header or the list of signers, just click above the document on the first icon in the list: Document Header.

Then continue in the usual way – save the signature fields and send the document off for signing.
