You can make various adjustments to the signature fields added to a document.

Click on a signature field to show four editing options.

  1. Resizing

Cick on the double-headed arrow, and a small dot will appear on the opposite side. Drag it to stretch or shrink the signature field and thus adapt it to the text around it in the document.

2. Trash

Click the trash icon to send the signature field back to the bar. You can then take it back out of the bar into another place in the document. You can also drag a signature field to another place using the mouse, via simple drag-and-drop.

3. Signature Duplication

If you need for a user to sign a document in multiple places, you can simply duplicate a signature field.

Click the third icon in the list, move down the document to the place where you want to add another signature field, and place it there using the mouse.

To delete a duplicate signature field created this way, click the trash icon. In this case, the signature field is not returned to the bar, since this was just a duplicate of the field.

4. Removal of the Date and Place

If the document you are adding already date and place items, you can remove them from the signature field by clicking the gear icon. The given person will then just have to sign and will not fill out a date or place by their signature.

Once you have adjusted the signature fields as you need, you can send the document as usual by clicking Continue to signature.

For multi-page documents, we recommend working with care when placing signature windows, and making sure, when adding them, that they do not spill over onto the next page. The end of one page and start of the next is indicated by a broken line:

If a signature field spans two pages, the signature will not be visible (or will be cropped) in the final PDF.
