Acceptance of a Document for Signing – Registered Users
If a counterparty sends you a proposal on a new document, and you are already a Signi user, then you are sent an email notification and, if appropriate, an SMS. Naturally the document is also shown in your workspace – in the Waiting for My Signature section.
Click and expand the Waiting for My Signature section to show a listing of available documents:
Click a given document to open it; this displays a preview of it. Then reject it or continue on directly to the signing step.
Once you click the Sign button, 2FA verification will begin, during which you will be asked to fill in the phone number to which we then send your PIN code (if you have not filled in the given contact in the account settings).
The SMS will be in this format:
In the next step you are called to enter your PIN code in the application:
Once the PIN is entered correctly, you are redirected to the signature field. You can sign using your finger or stylus, or using the touchpad on your laptop. If you are dissatisfied with the signature you’ve created, you can delete it and start again.
Once you are satisfied, click the Sign button.
(If you have previously saved a signature template in your account settings, then it is copied in directly, and you only need to fill in the place for signature.)
In the last step, the whole document is shown one more time – this time with your signature as well. To confirm your agreement with everything shown, click the button named Complete.
The final screen then notifies you that the process has completed successfully. We have sent off the document with your signature to the counterparty, and naturally we have a copy for you as well; you’ll find it in your email. You can download it in PDF format. The signed document is also saved within Signi, in the Completed Documents section.
